Century Farms Awards Dinner 2018

On 26 May 2018, over 230 people gathered in Lawrence to honour the 2017 award recipients

Minister Shane Jones honoured the families with a presentation of a bronze plaque and certificate to display on their properties. Through some entertaining personal anecdotes, Minister Jones identified the obvious connection and love of the land by the families present and acknowledged the commitment by their forebears to reach such an important milestone.  Also joining in the celebrations were local List MP and Committee member, Mark Patterson and Labour List MP for Wairarapa, Kieran McAnulty.

The local Vintage Club dressed the function venue with old artefacts from their collection which was a great talking point for the guests.
