Century Farms Awards Dinner 2016

On 23 May 2016, the awards dinner was held in Lawrence to honour the 2015 award recipients. 

Associate Minister for Primary Industries, Minister Jo Goodhew presented the awards to the families. 

At the event the Minister acknowledged that to reach this milestone, families had faced many challenges along the way which meant commitment, perseverance and sacrifice. “To continuously farm a property for multiple generations demonstrates a passion for farming and shows resilience and an ability to innovate. The success and resilience on display here, reflects the ability of New Zealand's rural sector to face and respond to change.”
